Pettit Kohn Los Angeles Motion for Summary Judgment Success

On March 19, 2017, Pettit Kohn Ingrassia & Lutz won a motion for summary judgment on behalf of a religious institution that had been sued for allegedly harboring a vicious dog that bit a pedestrian.  The plaintiff claimed that she was severely injured when a dog that had been maintained by a renter on the institution’s property broke free from the owner and attacked her. By negating the testimony of numerous witnesses offered by the plaintiff, Tristan Mullis was able to successfully prove that the religious institution was unaware of the dog, which necessitated the granting of summary judgment in its favor.

Great job Tristan!
