Brittney S. Slack
Brittney S. Slack obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, Brittney worked as a law clerk for the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Civil Division of the Southern District of California; California Attorney General’s Office in the Employment and Administrative Mandate Section; and the Honorable Ronald S. Prager, Ret., in San Diego Superior Court. Brittney earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Legal Writing and Research and Pro Bono Service Recognition Certificate for completing over 400 hours of pro bono services. Additionally, Brittney was an active member of her law school’s Moot Court and International Law Journal.
Upon graduation, Brittney worked at a mid-size law firm, defending construction industry clientele in the areas of public and private works litigation, contract disputes, wage and hour defense, and California and federal OSHA compliance. While with the firm, Brittney was recognized as Rookie of the Year.
Before law school, Brittney attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating with high honors (top 6%). Brittney competed on her college’s National Mock Trial Team and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and a Minor in Professional Writing.
Brittney primarily practices in employment & labor counseling, compliance, and litigation.
Outside the office, Brittney enjoys hiking, theorizing about Star Wars and Game of Thrones, and rooting for the Green Bay Packers.
