Caitlin M. Clarke

Caitlin Clarke obtained her Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University Law School in 2013. While in law school, Caitlin won the pro bono service award and served as an intern and law clerk at both the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia and the Department of Justice. At GWU Law School, Caitlin was the first recipient of the Howard J. Rudge Creative Solutions Prize for her paper proposing a nationwide apprenticeship program coupled with targeted tax incentives as a solution to high unemployment rates and the concurrent strain on federal entitlement programs.

Upon graduating, Caitlin gained substantial trial experience as an Assistant State Attorney in Miami, Florida. As a Miami-Dade ASA, Caitlin worked in the County Court and Juvenile divisions, handling a large case load of misdemeanor and felony criminal cases. In two years as an ASA, Caitlin tried eleven jury trials and over thirty bench trials to verdict. Prior to joining Pettit Kohn, Caitlin worked as an associate at a firm in Miami specializing in complex business litigation.

Caitlin focuses her practice on professional liability and business litigation.
