Gregory A. Garcia
Gregory A. Garcia obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of La Verne College of Law. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of California, Riverside in 2011, where he was awarded a Reserve Officers’ Training Corps full scholarship. While attending law school, Gregory was a member of the University of La Verne and BLSA mock trial teams, competing in numerous national tournaments and earning third place at the Western Regional Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition. Additionally, Gregory was selected to be the Federal Civil Procedure teaching assistant and was awarded the Lifelong Legal Education award for his dedication to legal education.
Prior to, and while simultaneously attending law school, Gregory gained extensive knowledge of a broad range of civil practice areas as the senior paralegal to a general practitioner. In addition to his experience as a paralegal, Gregory honorably served in the U.S. Army and California Army National Guard for nearly ten years, the majority of which he served as an Armor Officer.
Before joining Pettit Kohn, Gregory gained extensive experience defending fortune 500 companies against claims of personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, and habitability matters. His experience includes advising companies in pre-litigation and handling all aspects of civil litigation up to trial. Gregory is licensed to practice before all courts in the state of California, as well as the United States District Court for the Southern and Central District of California.
