Meghan E. Turner
Meghan E. Turner obtained her Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law, graduating cum laude. She is licensed to practice law before all courts in the state of California. Meghan represents corporate clients against premises liability and product liability claims. Prior to joining Pettit Kohn, Meghan represented plaintiffs in personal injury and premises liability matters at a personal injury law firm.
While attending law school, Meghan was a certified legal intern for the Sacramento District Attorney’s office in Sacramento, CA. At the District Attorney’s office, she primarily worked in the domestic violence, misdemeanor, and DUI courts. Additionally, Meghan was a student attorney for the Legal Clinic at Thurgood Marshall School of Law representing indigent clients in criminal matters. During law school, Meghan had the opportunity to study abroad in London, England, where she took legal courses at London City University. This opportunity enabled her to travel throughout Europe and learn about many different countries and cultures.
Prior to law school, Meghan received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from California State University, Dominguez Hills. While a student at Dominguez Hills, Meghan interned and assisted with the creation of the internship program for the Gang Diversion Team at the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Station in Carson, California. In her free time, Meghan enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading, and volunteering with her sorority. In addition, Mrs. Turner maintains a current real estate license in California.
