Wade A. Davison
Wade A. Davison has a wide range of litigation experience and has developed a strong reputation as an effective trial lawyer. Wade’s practice currently focuses on defending corporate and individual clients in claims involving personal injury, premises liability, and product liability.
Wade strives to serve his clients by resolving their cases in the most efficient and effective way possible. Wade has consistently obtained favorable results for his clients, including obtaining successful jury verdicts and judicial orders, and orders on appeal. Beyond successful courtroom outcomes, Wade has secured favorable results through alternative dispute resolution and settlement agreements.
Prior to joining Pettit Kohn, Wade was Corporate General Counsel for a North Dakota based oil & gas company. Prior to that he was an associate attorney at a North Dakota based law firm that practiced in business litigation, construction litigation, health-care law, insurance defense, oil-field litigation, real estate litigation, personal injury, products liability, government and municipal defense, and labor & employment.
Wade has also worked as an Assistant State’s Attorney with Morton and Burleigh County, North Dakota, where he gained immense courtroom and trial experience while prosecuting cases ranging from misdemeanors to felony level offenses. Prior to that, Wade was an associate attorney with a legal team that provided litigation assistance in international banking, finance, and securities disputes. Wade has argued to the North Dakota Supreme Court and has contributed to an amicus brief to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Wade was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology and Psychology from the University of Manitoba. Wade obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law. While in law school, Wade was an associate editor of the North Dakota Law Review, a class representative of the Student Bar Association, and an award-winning participant in UND’s moot court competition.
