PKIL Attorney Empowers At-Risk Children with Non-Profit Organization

Valerie Garcia Hong inspires and empowers at-risk children with non-profit Reading Legacies Foundation. 

Valerie volunteers with Reading Legacies Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is dedicated to teaching children and youth through intergenerational shared-reading experiences with their Community Connections Program.  The organization’s efforts include introducing children to exemplary community role models. In November, Valerie read to preschoolers and spoke with high school students from Escondido High School regarding the opportunities and advantages of a future career as an attorney.
