Michael F. Colbert is a Shareholder in Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin’s Los Angeles office and focuses his practice on retail litigation. He represents large and small corporate clients and has experience in all aspects of case management and litigation. He has obtained favorable results for his clients, securing victories against claims involving premises liability, product liability, and personal injury.

Michael received his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in 2017. While attending law school, Michael served as a clerk for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. Upon graduation, he worked for a non-profit organization as defense counsel in hundreds of bench trials, advocating for parents to regain custody of their children.

Prior to law school, Michael attended California State University Dominguez Hills and graduated cum laude in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
