Valeria Loayza Palomino
Valeria Loayza Palomino is an associate in Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin’s San Diego office. Her practice is primarily focused on transportation litigation matters and defending corporate clients against general liability claims.
Prior to joining Pettit Kohn, Valeria worked at a San Diego based immigration law firm where she represented clients in federal immigration court.
Valeria obtained her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. During law school, Valeria was involved in several extracurricular activities including the Jessup International Moot Court Team, the Student Bar Association, and the Latinx Law Student Association. Valeria was awarded the Academic Excellence Award for earning the highest grade in Criminal Procedure and for her legal research and writing skills. She dedicated her time to serving vulnerable members of the community through her internships at the Alternate Public Defender’s Office, Casa Cornelia Law Center, and the American Bar Association’s Immigration Justice Project.
Prior to law school, she attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science.
Valeria is licensed to practice law before all courts in the State of California.
