Jesse Basel is Senior Counsel for Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin’s San Diego office and focuses his practice on professional liability and business litigation matters. Jesse has extensive experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Jesse represents clients on a wide variety of professional and business litigation matters. He is admitted to practice before all California State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Central Districts of California.

Jesse earned his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law and his Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Davis. During law school, he was a member of the International Law Journal. Prior to joining Pettit Kohn, Jesse’s practice included securities and financial services litigation, corporate litigation and arbitration, trade secret disputes, unfair competition, employment litigation, securities industry compliance and regulatory investigations, and representation of public entities.

Outside of the office, Jesse can be found rooting for San Francisco sports franchises, chasing after his Australian Shepherd, and squeezing in golf at Torrey Pines.
