Omar Safi
Omar is an associate attorney in Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin’s San Diego office. He focuses his practice on professional liability and business litigation matters.
Omar earned his Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law. During law school, he was an Editor on the Review of Banking and Financial Law journal, External Vice President of the Middle Eastern & South Asian Law Students Association, and a member of the Business Law Society.
Prior to joining, Omar was an associate working on a variety of civil litigation matters. He was a legal intern at Fidelity Investments which included working on a diverse array of litigation, regulatory, and financial services matters. He also interned at KPMG in the Mergers & Acquisitions Tax group conducting research and due diligence reports focused on the applicable tax codes and tax exposures merging entities faced. In addition, he interned at a criminal defense law firm.
Prior to law school, Omar graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Certificate in International Relations. Outside of work, he enjoys playing golf, going to the beach, and watching soccer.
