Andres L. Uriarte is an associate in Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin’s Los Angeles office. He focuses his practice on employment litigation, defending employers against a wide variety of claims including wrongful termination, wage and hour violations, and discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. He works closely with each client to develop unique strategies tailored to address individual needs.

Prior to joining Pettit Kohn, Andres was an associate at a boutique Los Angeles County law firm where he handled a wide range of commercial and employment litigation for both plaintiffs and defendants. Andres also practiced law in Washington, DC, working with the Office of the United States Trade Representative and a boutique firm, primarily focusing on telecommunications companies and handling various responsibilities including commercial transactions and litigation.

Andres received his Juris Doctor degree from George Washington University Law School in Washington DC, and his LLM degree at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California. During law school Andres clerked at several federal agencies, including the US Dept of Agriculture for the Office of Inspector General and the US Commission of Civil rights Office of General Counsel. Prior to law school, Andres obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Relations from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
