David M. Wise is an associate at Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin, where he focuses his practice on general liability matters, defending large and small corporate clients against claims involving
premises liability, product liability, and personal injury.

David earned his Juris Doctor degree from The Colleges of Law – Santa Barbara. As a law school student, he received top grades in Legal Writing, Legal Research, and Appellate Advocacy. He also worked as a paralegal at a law firm in Santa Barbara where he gained experience with complex trust and estate litigation matters.

As an undergraduate student at the University of California, Santa Barbara, David was an active participant in the mock trial team. He helped create a leadership infrastructure and served as a Team Captain and the club’s first elected President. He was also involved in a campaign to create a Legal Studies Department at UCSB geared towards better preparing law students for the next step of their respective academic journeys.

Prior to joining Pettit Kohn, David volunteered for the District Attorney’s Office in Ventura County, where he gained valuable experience arguing motions before the court and participating in jury trials.
