Emily is an associate in Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin’s San Diego office. Her practice focuses on retail, transportation, and toxic tort litigation matters. Emily represents clients through all stages of litigation, providing strategic counsel on early case assessment, motion practice, and overall case development. She enjoys working closely with clients to develop effective strategies that advance their objectives and achieve favorable outcomes. Emily has experience handling a broad range of civil litigation matters, including premises liability, products liability, and personal injury claims.

Emily earned her Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law, where she was elected to serve as the Senior Notes Editor of Volume 64 of the Santa Clara Law Review and President of both the Real Estate Law Society and Women and Law Association. She earned a Public Interest and Social Justice Certificate, with an emphasis in Environmental Justice. During law school, Emily gained valuable courtroom and advocacy experience as an extern for the Santa Clara Superior Court. She further developed her litigation skills through clerkships with several local law firms, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in a variety of matters, including contract, real property, and construction defect disputes.

Prior to law school, Emily graduated with honors from the University of San Diego, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Spanish. During her time at USD, Emily was a member of the Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha, and Pre-Law Honor Society, Phi Alpha Delta, and served as a Scholastic Assistant for the College of Arts and Sciences. Emily participated in the Madrid, Spain study abroad program, further enhancing her academic and cultural experiences.

Emily is licensed to practice law before all courts in the state of California.
