Jackson A. Sullivan
Jackson Sullivan is an associate attorney in the San Diego office of Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin, where he focuses his practice on employment litigation and represents clients in various employment matters.
A San Diego native, Jackson received his juris doctor from University of San Diego (USD) School of Law. Prior to joining Pettit Kohn, Jackson honed his courtroom defense skills at the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, and he gained civil litigation experience as a legal intern for the City of San Diego and the City of Carlsbad. During law school, Jackson served as the Tournament Chairperson for USD’s National Mock Trial team, competing in five tournaments over the course of two years against law students from across the country and earning an award for best oral advocacy. Jackson also contributed his time to legal clinics with the Center for Public Interest Law and Pro Bono Legal Advocates. He received the Pro Bono Recognition Award with Distinction for over 250 hours of pro bono service.
Jackson received his undergraduate degree from University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with honors, cum laude, and earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Economy. Before entering law school, Jackson was a ninth grade World History teacher at a high school in Yuma, Arizona.
