Julia Hwang
Julia Hwang is an associate attorney at Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin’s San Diego office, where she focuses her practice on transportation matters.
Julia earned her Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, Julia served as the Articles Editor of the Journal for Climate and Energy Law. As a board member of USD’s Appellate Moot Court Team, she competed in the Phillip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition for two years. Furthermore, Julia was an active participant and a vice president of the Asian Pacific Islander Law Student Association.
Julia gained valuable experience through clerkships with organizations including, the Office of the San Diego City Attorney, the San Diego County Public Defender’s Office, the Office of the US Attorney for the Southern District of California, the California Department of Transportation, and a plaintiff side personal injury firm. For her externships and contributions to public service, Julia earned the USD Pro Bono Recognition.
Before law school, Julia graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a Bachelor of Arts in Government.
