Madison S. Stern
Madison S. Stern is an associate in the San Diego office of Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin, where her practice focuses on business litigation and professional liability defense. She brings a broad background in both litigation and transactional law, with experience representing clients across insurance, premises liability, personal injury, employment, construction, business litigation, and real estate sectors.
Prior to joining Pettit Kohn, Madison practiced at a civil litigation defense firm based in San Diego, where she handled a diverse docket of litigation matters throughout California. Before moving into litigation, Madison advised startups and business owners on commercial and corporate contracts, intellectual property protection, and regulatory compliance – experience that empowers her to successfully navigate the intersection of business operations and legal risk.
Madison earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law with a concentration in business law. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business with a minor in Chinese (Mandarin) from Whittier College and is fluent in French. She is admitted to practice in both California and New York.
