Nicholas E. Garver
Nick Garver is an associate in Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin’s San Diego office and focuses his practice on business litigation and professional liability matters. He has a background in a wide variety of civil litigation practice areas, including general business litigation, patent litigation, public sector litigation, employment litigation, and securities fraud. Some of Nick’s clients have included the County of Los Angeles, Amazon Web Services, Juniper Networks, and California Bank & Trust. Before entering private practice, Nick served as a law clerk to Judge James G. Reinhart of the Board of Veterans’ Appeals.
Nick, the child of two San Diegan parents, grew up in La Jolla. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science at Yale University, a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies at Georgetown, where he received a full tuition scholarship, and a Juris Doctor from UCLA School of Law, where he received a scholarship covering 93% of his tuition. During law school, Nick served as a volunteer law clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Major Crimes unit.
Outside of the office, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife and son, rooting for the Padres, playing guitar, skiing, and chess.
