Ricardo Robinson Bours
Ricardo’s practice focuses on professional liability, business litigation, and retail litigation. Ricardo manages all aspects of litigation, including dispositive motions, discovery, and court appearances, from the initial filing of a complaint through resolution. His practice includes both Arizona and California state and federal litigation.
Ricardo obtained his Juris Doctor in 2017 from the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Ricardo served as the Managing Editor of the Arizona Law Review and was a member of the Transaction Law Meet Team. Ricardo also participated in the Child and Family Law Clinic and received a CALI Excellence Award in Legal Research and Transactional Law. Prior to attending law school, Ricardo graduated magna cum laude from the University of Colorado, Denver, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
Before joining Pettit Kohn, Ricardo was an associate at a commercial litigation firm in Arizona, where he represented businesses and individuals in large litigation matters, including a high-profile case against a major pharmaceutical company and tort defense in cases against public entities. Ricardo is licensed to practice before all courts in the states of California and Arizona, as well as the United States District Court for the District of Arizona and Northern District of California.
