Bron D’Angelo Obtains Defense Verdict for Large Retail Client
On March 14, 2016 Pettit Kohn Ingrassia & Lutz successfully defended one of its large retail clients in a personal injury action in Los Angeles, California. Plaintiff alleged that she suffered injuries due to dangerous condition on the client’s premises. At trial, Plaintiff argued the client had actual and constructive notice of a dangerous condition on its premises, and failed to implement and enforce policies and procedures to protect its customers. After two days of testimony, the jury returned a defense verdict in 50 minutes and found that the Plaintiff was not entitled to any monetary recovery.
