Pettit Kohn Raises Over Twelve Thousand Meals for San Diego Children and Families Affected by COVID-19

For the fifth year in a row, Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin participated in Feeding San Diego’s Food from the Bar fundraising campaign, a friendly competition which challenges local legal organizations to raise funds and awareness for the food insecure population in San Diego. Because the COVID-19 pandemic had diminished many resources normally available, there was an increased need for Feeding San Diego to provide relief for those impacted.

This year, Pettit Kohn earned 2nd place in the competition, exceeding the initial goal of $2,500 and raising a total of $3,059.  Because of Feeding San Diego’s highly efficient distribution model which focuses on reducing food waste, each dollar raised provides four nutritious meals, translating Pettit Kohn’s fundraising efforts into 12,236 meals.  In total, this year’s Food from the Bar campaign raised $16,306 helping to provide 65,224 meals to San Diegans facing hunger.  Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin is proud to continue their support of Feeding San Diego and their tireless efforts to eradicate hunger in the community.
