The San Diego Society of Human Resource Management (SD SHRM) held their Annual Law Day Conference, on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the San Diego Marriott Del Mar with well over 250 HR Professionals in attendance.

Jennifer Lutz, co-chair of Pettit Kohn’s Employment & Labor Law team, was the keynote speaker for the event presenting “2016 California Compliance and Legislative Update” which highlighted new California laws and what employers need to do to be in compliance in 2016. Jennifer also informed attendees what potential areas of new legislation are possibly headed for California employers.
