3/28/12 Featured Speaker – Valerie Garcia Hong at Thomas Jefferson School of Law

Valerie Garcia Hong joins Pan Asian Lawyers of San Diego (PALSD) and Filipino American Lawyers of San Diego (FALSD), to speak on the panel, “Hanging Up Your Own Shingle,” which will provide advice on going into solo practice and tips on avoiding legal malpractice. Additional panelist include: Christopher Macaraeg, Esq., Doreen Erenea, Esq., and moderated by Ariel Javier, Esq.

The event will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at 6:15 p.m., Thomas Jefferson School of Law. Sponsors include: PALSD, FALSD, APALSA, Tax Law Society and South Asian Law Students Association.

Valerie has substantial litigation experience in professional liability as well as personal injury, premises liability, real estate and complex business disputes. She is also a co-founder of the firm’s Appellate practice. In addition, Valerie is an Adjunct Professor at California Western School of Law’s STEPPS Program, where she teaches litigation skills and professional responsibility.
