Yasmeen N. Halim is an associate in Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin’s San Diego office and focuses her practice on professional liability and business litigation matters.

Yasmeen obtained her Juris Doctor degree with a concentration in Business & Corporate Law from the University of San Diego School of Law. While in law school, Yasmeen was a recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in her Contract Drafting course. Additionally, Yasmeen was selected to be a participant of the San Diego County Bar Association’s Diversity Fellowship Program, where she served as a corporate legal intern for both Sempra Energy and its subsidiary, San Diego Gas & Electric. During her time in law school, Yasmeen actively participated in Moot Court, competing in the National Leroy R. Hassell Sr. Constitutional Law Moot Court Competition.

Prior to joining Pettit Kohn, Yasmeen worked as a law clerk for a law firm specializing in insurance defense, which included personal injury and construction defect matters. Additionally, she served as a Legal Intern with the University of San Diego School of Law’s Civil Litigation Clinic, where she was able to assist clients with free legal services on a variety of issues, ranging from identity theft to third party debt collections.
