Pettit Kohn Attains Huge Win for Retail Client
After three weeks of trial and three days of deliberation, the jury returned a 12-0 verdict in favor to one of Pettit Kohn’s largely respected retail clients. In November 2011, a customer was brutally beaten and killed at a retail store located in Lakewood, California. Plaintiff, son and daughter of deceased, were awarded $15 million dollars against the homeless attacker and the jury found that the client did not cause plaintiffs any harm.
Andrew Kohn and Lauren Bates represented the client on Pettit Kohn’s behalf.
