Pettit Kohn Ingrassia & Lutz Sponsors SD SHRM Law Day 2017

The San Diego Society of Human Resource Management (SD SHRM) held their Annual Law Day Conference, on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the University of San Diego Joan B. Croc Institute for Peace and Justice Center.  Over 200 human resource professionals and business leaders from across San Diego County attended the one day conference.

Once again, Pettit Kohn Ingrassia & Lutz was proud to be the title sponsor for the annual conference which featured employment law attorneys and HR subject matter experts discussing recent and upcoming legislative employment law changes as well as compliance and regulatory issues that affect employers, HR and Talent Management leaders.

Jennifer Lutz, Shareholder and co-chair of Pettit Kohn’s Employment & Labor Law team and Jenna Leyton-Jones, Shareholder and co-founder of the firm’s Appellate practice group, were both selected as speakers for the event by SD SHRM.   They presented “Social Media in the Workplace” which explored the pros, cons, and pitfalls of social media use in the workplace.  They also provided the latest legislative and judicial guidance as well as tips on drafting effective and enforceable social media policies.

Both Jennifer and Jenna are former Vice Presidents of Legislation for San Diego SHRM.
