Pettit Kohn Proudly Sponsors the 2019 Waves of Appreciation Charity Golf Tournament

Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin is proud to sponsor the Waves of Appreciation 2019 Charity Golf Tournament this Saturday, September 7. The proceeds from the tournament will benefit the 2019 Waves of Appreciation Bag Project, an event organized by the USO San Diego and the Pepperdine University Alumni Association. In this annual event, volunteers help to distribute bags containing snacks and notes of gratitude to active duty military personnel traveling through San Diego Lindbergh Field International Airport during the holiday season.

Over 3,000 service members travel home for the holidays through the San Diego International Airport, and for some this is the last trip home before deploying. Since 2011 the local alumni chapter for Pepperdine University and the USO San Diego have joined forces with the San Diego community to assemble and distribute the bags in an effort to provide for and show thanks to those who serve.
