Pettit Kohn Attorney Receives The Daily Transcript’s 2012 Young Attorneys Award

December 13, 2012, Pettit Kohn is pleased to announce associate Jeff Boman was recognized by The Daily Transcript as a Young Attorneys Finalist in the “Practicing 3-5 Years” category. Additionally, Hazel Ocampo, Valerie Garcia Hong and Bron D’Angelo were also nominated for the award.

Each year The Daily Transcript recognizes San Diego’s best young attorneys with seven years or less of experience. They are selected through a peer nominated process and judged by an independent panel of legal experts. All finalists represent characteristics of being ethical and professional, enthusiastic, detail-orientated, hard working and committed to furthering the interests of justice in society. Jeff Boman represents individuals and companies across a variety of industries in matters involving business litigation, premises liability, product liability, employment practices, contracts, corporate structure, corporate financing and securities. In addition to his litigation practice, Jeff co-founded and manages the firm’s corporate transactional and advisory practice. He provides counseling and unique solutions that integrate the issues and risks of both business and litigation.

Hazel Ocampo is an associate in the firm’s Employment & Labor group. She represents clients on a broad spectrum of claims, including discrimination, wrongful termination, harassment, and wage and hour litigation.

Valerie Garcia Hong has substantial litigation experience representing professionals, large commercial companies as well as small companies in wide-range of cases, including unfair business practices, breach of contract, negligence, fraud and trade secrets. Valerie is also a co-founder of the firm’s Appellate practice.

Bron D’Angelo has extensive trial and litigation experience. He currently represents clients in matters involving business litigation, product liability, premises liability, and personal injury.
