Pettit Kohn Volunteers for 2018 Waves of Appreciation Project

On December 15, 2018, Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin teammates volunteered their time to show their appreciation for active-duty military members by taking part in the annual Waves of Appreciation Event.  The Pettit Kohn team, along with other San Diego community members, helped distribute bags filled with non-perishable food and thank you cards to the military men and women travelling through San Diego Lindbergh Field airport during the holiday season. For some, this was their last trip home before deployment, and volunteers were grateful to support them on their journeys.  Over 4,000 bags will be distributed between December 14 and December 22.  This is Pettit Kohn’s 7th year participating in this event.

The USO San Diego and Pepperdine University Alumni Association launched the Waves of Appreciation project in 2011 and will have distributed approximately 30,000 bags by the end of this year. “Our paramount goal is to give back and show gratitude to our service men and women as they travel home to see their families,” said Reed Reichert, a founding member of the USO WOA bag project.  Pettit Kohn CEO Drew Kohn added “It’s an honor to provide support to the military and their families. Pettit Kohn is proud to continually be a part of this program and work with the community to show thanks for those who serve our nation.”
