Pettit Kohn Wins Motion for Summary Judgment

On May 5, 2009, Pettit Kohn won a motion for summary judgment for its client against two plaintiffs who claimed false imprisonment and arrest and related civil rights violations. Plaintiffs sought $24 million in compensatory and punitive damages, asserting that the firm’s client falsely imprisoned and arrested plaintiffs based on their race.
