Lawyers Club of San Diego Elects Pettit Kohn Shareholder Shannon Finley as President
Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin Shareholder Shannon R. Finley was recently elected to serve as the Lawyers Club of San Diego President for 2022-2023. The gavel will be passed to her at the Annual Dinner on May 4, 2022 and she will begin her term on July 1, 2022.
Lawyers Club of San Diego was founded in 1972 with the mission to “advance the status of women in the law and society.” Ms. Finley, an active Lawyers Club member since 2014, has served on the organization’s Board of Directors since 2019.
“I am honored to take office as Lawyers Club of San Diego’s President during its 50th anniversary year,” said Finley. “My participation and leadership in Lawyers Club of San Diego has been pivotal for my personal and professional growth as an attorney. I’m looking forward to having the opportunity to pay it forward to do something impactful for this organization and the legal community as a whole as we continue our work to advocate for true equality.”
Most recently Shannon served as Lawyers Club’s Vice President of Policy & Membership. She has previously served in a number of other leadership roles, including Annual Dinner Co-chair, Membership Development Co-chair, Women’s Advocacy Committee Co-chair, and Law School Outreach Committee Co-chair. Shannon was also honored in 2019 with the C. Hugh Friedman New Lawyer Award, which recognizes a Lawyers Club member who has been a champion in advancing Lawyers Club’s mission and who has demonstrated leadership and professionalism within the San Diego legal community.
