Two Pettit Kohn Attorneys Named Among 2022 Southern California Super Lawyers®
Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin is proud to announce that two of its Los Angeles attorneys were once again recognized by Super Lawyers® and named to the 2022 Southern California Super Lawyers® list. Shareholders Grant D. Waterkotte and Andrew O. Smith were both recognized for their work in Personal Injury General – Defense. The annual list represents only the top five percent of attorneys in the Southern California region and recognizes outstanding lawyers who have achieved a high degree of professional achievement and peer recognition.
Grant D. Waterkotte is a founding shareholder at Pettit Kohn Ingrassia Lutz & Dolin. A highly accomplished trial attorney, Grant has tried over 30 cases to verdict in California and Arizona with favorable results. The vast majority of these trials were before a jury, with a 90% record of success. Mr. Waterkotte’s extensive jury trial experience and exceptional results led to his induction into the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He also serves as a faculty member of the Jack Daniels’ Los Angeles ABOTA Trial School and has achieved Martindale-Hubbell’s highest AV rating for legal ability and ethical standards. He has also been previously recognized as a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2010-2015.
Andrew O. Smith is a managing shareholder in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He represents a wide range of businesses and entities in the areas of commercial, construction, and premises and product liability matters. He has extensive trial and litigation experience and successfully manages complex cases while providing effective and cost-sensitive results for his clients. He has also been recognized as a Southern California Rising Star by Super Lawyers in 2008 and 2010-2015. Mr. Smith is active in the Los Angeles County Bar Association, as a member of the Delegation to California Conference of Bar Associations and also serves on the President’s Advisory Committee for Women in the Legal Profession.
