Employment and Labor Law Attorney Shannon Finley was published in the Fall 2018 edition of the Employment Practices Liability Consultant (EPLiC), which is sponsored by the International Risk Management Institute, Inc. (IRMI). The article is titled “Let’s Talk About Sex[ual Orientation Discrimination]: A Discussion of Recent Developments and Their Nationwide Implications.” In the article, Ms. Finley provides valuable insight on recent and upcoming decisions surrounding Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, specifically regarding whether or not sexual orientation is a protected characteristic under federal law.
